Arrived late at hotel Sunday night all feeling exhausted after traveling. Great Hotel! Monday - After a good nights sleep off to get climbing permits, no problems. Feeling ready for the task ahead. A little cooler than expected looking under dressed in shorts and sandals arriving at not so good hostel! "Very Basic" .Tuesday - started 3 day walk today

  5. Ady just rang me from the satelite phone - he says it's really tough! It's 40 degrees!

    He rang to wish me happy birthday and now i'm in tears!!!! He said one of the guys has sunstroke and had to get to camp 2 on a mule! They are going to base camp today and spending 2 days there to acclimatise before they move on...
